Matt Dolmage

Matthew studied law at the University of Victoria and was called to the bar in May of 2018. Prior to pursuing a legal career, he worked for the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia and ran his own small business.

Matthew’s law career began in Dawson Creek, and after three years practicing in Northern British Columbia, he returned to Victoria in 2020. Matthew joined JB Lawyers LLP as an associate in 2022.

Matthew has been involved in the Victoria music scene for many years, as a promoter, performer, and producer. In his free time he records progressive rock music with his band, Versa, builds musical instruments and fine furniture, and enjoys playing board games and video games with his wife Julia and their parrots Eddie and Bernadette. He is an occasional contributor to sports and music blogs and is the former producer of “The Hockey PDOCast with Dimitri Filipovic”.
